MiGs, Stars & Magic Books: A Brief History of Trespassing in Moscow
An illustrated guide to urban exploration in the Russian capital.
Tuesday 19 January 2016
It feels like such a long time ago I visited Australia – but I still have a few unpublished photo albums, knocking around on my hard drive. I’ve included two sets here, both focussed on a pretty similar theme: the Victorian-era brickworks at Brunswick and Box Hill respectively, two abandoned factories in the suburbs of Melbourne.
I don’t know if these will ever make it onto the front page of the blog now. Problem is, Australia was the last place I visited before I flew to Hong Kong and bought myself a proper, DSLR camera – so these photos quickly looked outdated, flat and grainy compared to the images I’m creating now.
Even if they don’t make it onto the front page though, I expect sooner or later I’ll write some more about these places… perhaps it’ll just end up as a private essay on here. For now at least, the galleries are up – and you can enjoy a sneak peek inside these historic Australian ruins.
